By Craig Hubert | This has to be a joke, right? James Franco has announced his third project in less than two weeks, a new documentary with frequent collaborator Christina Voros, about the fashion line Gucci, reports Variety. The focus of the film will be Gucci creative director Frida Giannini, who worked with Franco in 2008 when he was the face of Gucci’s men’s fragrance line. Voros and Franco last worked together on “Kink,” which premiered last week at Sundance, and previously made the 2010 documentary “Saturday Night,” a behind the scenes look at “Saturday Night Live.” Voros was also the cinematographer on “The Broken Tower,” “As I Lay Dying,” and “Sal,” all of which Franco directed. Aside from the documentary, Franco also announced recently that he would be adapting James Ellroy’s massive “American Tabloid,” as well as a film about the life of controversial author Charles Bukowski, possibly based on the book “Ham and Rye.” If these three projects will ever be completed is anybody’s guess, but we can guarantee that Franco will announce a lot more projects before the year’s over.
