By Bryan Hood | TUNE: “Sorry,” a totally okay slice of R&B infused hip-hop, that’s elevated to greatness by a phenomenal guest verse that features a juicy line or two that’ll give rap nerds something to talk about for the next month.
BY: Once-great Atlanta rapper T.I., who after a handful of irrelevant years has had a decent 2012 (his verse on Killer Mike’s “Big Beast” was proof he still had it). But let’s face it, the song is only noteworthy because of the presence of former Outkast eccentric André 3000.
CURRENTLY: The song is off of T.I.’s eight album, “Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head,” which is due out December 18 on Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records. As for André, no one really knows what he’s up to (more Gillette commercials, perhaps), but he probably has a few other featuring-spots coming up that we’ve yet to hear about.
