By Bryan Hood | Anyone worried that Louis C.K.’s hiatus from “Louie” meant they’d no longer be able to see him on the small screen can rest easy. In addition to occasional guest spots (like those on “Parks and Recreation” or hosting “SNL”), the New York Times reports that the Emmy-winning comedian-of-the-moment is set to record a standup special for HBO, to be aired some time next year. The program will be shot on C.K.’s current national tour, and like much of what he does, will be available for download on his website (for the exceedingly affordable $5) a “few” months after it airs. C.K. fans will note that this is not the first time the comedian and network have worked together. The comedian wrote for “The Chris Rock Show,” starred in the cancelled-after-one-season “Lucky Louie,” and shot another standup special, “Shameless.”
