Debbie Harry, Daryl Hannah, Grace Jones, Isabella Rossellini, Marilyn Minter, and Chloe Sevigny are all betwixt the sheets in the forthcoming art and culture quarterly CRUSHfanzine. Titled “Women We Love,” the issue is dedicated to a multigenerational sorority of badass “artists, actresses, cultural catalysts, and style icons,” from nu-disco chanteuse Nomi Ruiz to painter of dissipated glamour Marilyn Minter.
Hitting US newsstands on April 5th, CRUSHfanzine offers an embarrassment of editorial riches, including costume curator Kaye Spilker’s interview with sixties it-girl Peggy Moffitt, correspondence between actresses Lauren Hutton and Anjelica Huston, and photo portfolios featuring art-world impresarios Yvonne Force Villareal and Doreen Remen of the Art Production Fund, gallerist Stefania Bortolami, the New Museum’s Lisa Phillips, alongside bona fide stars including Kim Gordon, Rossellini, and Sevigny. Amanda Lear will wax poetic on Dali and disco, and Debbie Harry will channel her childhood memories via fax.
