Pamela Love’s ethically produced baubles have always come with good karma. Her latest capsule collection, though, comes with a little extra attached.
The five-piece Wheel Collection is the jewelry designer’s latest effort for Fashion Fights Cancer, a charity that provides spiritual relief for cancer patients and survivors through design-related activities. (She previously hosted a four-week jewelry-making class through the program, in which she walked seven students through the process of making a piece of custom jewelry in her Manhattan studio.)
The limited-edition line was inspired by the tarot’s wheel of fortune, a symbol of hope and rejuvenation. Love translated the motif into necklaces, earrings, and a ring, which can be ordered cast in bronze, silver, or sterling silver with blue sapphires or rubies. Adding to the collection’s feel-good charm, 100% of its profits will go toward therapeutic programs for people fighting with the disease.
