In just a few seasons, Reed Krakoff has developed a new urban uniform. It’s a thoughtful, mix-and-match wardrobe, and for pre-fall 2013 it includes chunky cashmere sweaters, split-hem skirts, and trim trousers under borrowed-from-the-boys overcoats with luxe touches of manipulated lace, python, and mink.
Krakoff is not one for overt sex appeal, and this season’s shapes and styling called to mind the butch side of 1990s minimalism, like a white T layered under a leather V-neck. The perfect blank canvas for showing off Krakoff’s covetable accessories.
