Transform Your iPhone into the Dieter Rams Radio that Actually Looks Like an iPod

Dieter Rams and Apple: It’s a design match made in heaven. Unfortunately, we can’t say the brawn behind Braun will be talking shop with Apple anytime soon, but in the meantime, you can use a nifty new app to turn your boring ol’ iPhone (preferably in white) into a simulacrum of Rams’s T3 pocket radio designed for Braun, which — hold onto your hats — may have actually inspired the design of the Apple’s generation iPods.

The parallels between the aesthetics of Rams and Apple’s Jonathan Ive have have been noted before, but the T3 music app — described as a “powerful new music player” that will introduce “a fresh solution to order your music” — can further substantiate the comparison and suggest that after 50 years, we might still just want the same things.
