Post-Consumer Chic: Souda’s Bubble Chandelier Transforms Plastic Bottles into High Design

Because the weather is ideal for online shopping, this weekend we recommend swinging by to buy a Bubble Chandelier.

Williamsburg-based designers Souda were inspired by the form and transparency of soap bubbles when conceptualizing this lighting fixture, made of reused plastic bottles sourced from Brooklyn non-profit recyclable redemption center Sure We Can. Illuminated, the bottles appear to be a delicate crystal. Part of the proceeds from the Bubble Chandelier’s sale go directly to the facility.
