Shortly before his untimely death, Steve Jobs commissioned Philippe Starck to co-design Venus, the yacht with the iPhone aesthetic, for a fee of €9 million ($12 million). The two collaborators created a ship with their mutual signature clean lines that was completed in October. While the Jobs’ family has paid €6 million of designer’s fees, the ship was impounded last Wednesday and will be held in a Dutch port until the outstanding €3 million balance has been paid, according to Reuters.

Well Mr Starck, not the best PR stunt you pulled hey. I’m not being funny but things must be tight if you need the extra three mill from a grieving family. I’ll pray for you.
