A little bit fashion, a little bit performance art. Tons and tons of sex appeal.

Robert Fontanelli, the artist whose watercolors bring out the hidden S&M subtext of our favorite mid-century designs (who knew?), brought his paintings to life last night at Lower East Side gallery Envoy Enterprises. All it took was the help of two dancers and a trusty sewing machine.
