Rashid Johnson On The Diamond

April’s cover star, Rashid Johnson, will be throwing the opening pitch at Thursday’s  Chicago Cubs VS. Milwaukee Brewers game at Wrigley Field. As In The Air reports, it’s tied into the opening of his much-anticipated retrospective, “Message to Our Folks, opening on Saturday at the MCA Chicago. Above is a photograph of Johnson at work in his Brooklyn studio, taken during Modern Painters’ studio visit with the artist.
