With rape culture an issue in the election, DTLA’s Main Museum has tapped Suzanne Lacy (Three Weeks in May, 1977) for an inaugural performance. “Performance Lessons,” a free, 10-day performance by Lacy and Andrea Bowers (Oct. 30–Nov. 8, 2016) will end on election night with a communal viewing of returns.
The Tom Wiscombe-updated Main Museum, to have 40,000 sq. ft. of exhibition space, will focus on L.A. artists and plans to open in stages through c. 2020.
