(Part II – Inside the “Oscars” of the Food World)

The after-parties are not that different than those of Art Basel Miami, especially the selection process.  First, you discover what parties there are, followed by which ones are  the best to attend and, this is important, which order you will go to them. 

This year, there were at least 5 award after-parties:  Boulud Sud, Per Se, The Modern, ABC Kitchen and almost always one of the best parties to go to on the later side, Eleven Madison Park. 

But before there were the after-parties, there were the James Beard Foundation Awards and Gala Reception:

An unusual but delicious dessert, Egg-Ceptional Virtual Eggs (think Cadbury Easter Eggs) created by another JBF Award Winner, Michel Richard

Now, to the after-parties:
