Spring/Break Fair Announces Curator List

Everyone’s a curator! Especially so at the Spring/Break Art Show, New York’s “curator-driven” art fair, which will return to the city in March for its fifth annual iteration. Coinciding with Armory Week, the fair will run from March 2 through 7 at the James A. Farley Post Office Building nearby Penn Station in Manhattan. The fair has announced its slate of curators, which is, in keeping with past years, ample.

More than 100 curators will be involved in putting forth exhibitions that hew to the fair’s central theme, CopyPaste (“stylized as ⌘COPY⌘PASTE,” according to a release), driving home the well-established trope of “remix,” “everyone is a curator” culture. (A theme perhaps prefigured by Dustin Yellin at the fair last year, when he remixed $10,000 in legal tender into eight $10,000 paintings.) The list of curatorial participants, copy-pasted from a release made exclusively available to ARTINFO by Spring/Break’s organizers, follows below.
