While it seemed like Frieze was snagging all the satellites this year, at least one fair is moving its date back to align with the Armory Show. Pulse New York has just announced that it will move to March for the 2015 edition of the fair, which also happens to be its 10th anniversary. From March 5 to 8, during Armory Arts Week, Pulse will set up shop at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea.
“Since I became Director, I have been listening to our exhibitors — many of whom felt the need for change at PULSE,” director Helen Toomer said in a release. “From this, we made bold moves to ensure that our exhibitors and visitors alike, are satisfied and engaged. We have decided to change our New York dates to March in 2015, as there seems to be more energy and dedication to visiting parallel fairs and events during Armory Arts Week, which kicks off the cultural spring festivities in New York.”
