A pair of gallery relocations were announced today: Street art specialist Jonathan LeVine will expand his gallery, keeping his eighth floor space at 529 West 20th Street and adding a ground-floor space at 557 West 23rd Street — a space he rented last year for a pop-up exhibition (pictured); and Fred Torres, longtime occupant of the space above David Nolan Gallery at 527 West 29th Street, will move one block south to a storefront space at 505 West 28th Street.
Torres launches his new space Thursday night with the opening reception of “The Kingdom,” an exhibition of new works by Seb Janiak. The new Jonathan LeVine space, meanwhile, will open on February 20 with a solo show by the French street artist Ludo entitled “Fruit of the Doom.”
