With a little assistance from the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Booth Ferris Foundation, the New York Foundation for the Arts has tapped additional funds to grant to individual artists who were affected by Hurricane Sandy last fall.
Per a post on the NYFA’s Facebook page on Tuesday:
Thanks to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Booth Ferris Foundation, we have received additional funds for NYFA’s emergency relief fund for individual artists impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Open to artists in all disciplines who reside in NYC, and meet a maximum income threshold. Funds are limited – please apply by September 15th.
