Sean Kelly Gallery announced today that it has brought on Betsy Bickar as a director. Bickar, who has 15 years of experience in areas including contemporary, modern, and Latin American art, will aim to build the gallery’s business particularly in the secondary market sector. The position is a new one for the gallery, which represents such artists as Marina Abramovic, Terence Koh, Kehinde Wiley, and the estate of Robert Mapplethorpe.
“We are extremely pleased to have Betsy join the gallery to head up our secondary market activity,” said Sean Kelly. “She will be a dynamic addition to the team.”
“It is wonderful to be part of such a rapidly expanding gallery,” said Bickar, “that affords so many opportunities and has such a distinguished international reputation.”
