Steve Wynn, the resort and casino mogul who is also a major art collector, was recently revealed to be the mystery buyer behind Jeff Koons’s “Tulips” — which fetched an artist record $33.6 million at auction last year — plans to install the shiny stainless steel bouquet at his forthcoming resort in Macau, but for now the work is on view at the Wynn Las Vegas.

The sculpture, which is installed “between Wynn and Encore in front of the Wynn Theater,” according to a Wynn Las Vegas Facebook post, also served as inspiration for the casino-resort’s pastry chefs, who made a replica of the work out of sugar (above) to mark its unveiling. No word on how much the sugar tulips will set avid collectors of confectionery back, but we’d estimate their price at significantly less than $33.6 million.

I might also like to include that if you are a senior thinking about traveling, its absolutely vital that you buy traveling insurance for older persons. When traveling, senior citizens are at high risk of getting a healthcare emergency. Receiving the right insurance policy package for your age group can look after your health and give you peace of mind.
