Berlin’s Esther Schipper gallery announced today that it has added architectural sculptor Tomas Saraceno to its roster. The Argentine artist, who installed the interactive “Cloud City” on the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art last spring, remains with Tanya Bonakdar in New York, according to the gallery’s website.
Saraceno had his last major exhibition in Berlin in 2011, for which he built larger-than-life biospheres at the Hamburger Bahnhof. Saraceno’s first exhibition with Esther Schipper takes place in March.
