On Friday, during a visit to Oslo — where his work is included in an exhibition at the Astrup Fearnley Museet — Takashi Murakami paid a visit to the Nasjonalmuseet, the National Museum of Norway, which owns one of the four versions of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream.”

Confirming that iconic artwork poses are one of the year’s biggest art memes, he posted the above image of himself imitating the famous artwork’s central figure on Instagram and Twitter.
