Big Things Pourin': 303 Gallery Gets Concrete Delivery Ahead of Doug Aitken Show

Either the owners of the building housing 303 Gallery have literally sold the ground out from under them, or their forthcoming Doug Aitken exhibition (opening February 1) is going to be really, really heavy. (Or, third option, the floor needed reinforcing after Hurricane Sandy washed through.)

In any case, when ARTINFO passed by earlier this week a cement truck was parked halfway inside the gallery and pouring concrete directly into a giant hole in the center of the gallery, which is exactly what we imagine Gavin Brown did after Urs Fischer dug that big hole in his space.
