Annie Leibovitz Puts Her Three West Village Townhouses on the Market

Celebrity photographer Annie Liebovitz’s multi-property West Village home-studio compound, located at Greenwich Street and West 11th Street, officially hit the market as of yesterday, listed for $33-million by Brown Harris Stevens.

The unique complex is comprised of three separate townhouses all linked together to form a seamless, customized live-work space where Liebovitz has built and rebuilt her empire over the past decade.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the photographer began buying up the properties in 2002, acquiring the first two brownstones at $4.2-million, and the last for $1.9-million. That’s a hefty price to pay considering the renovations she’s added since. For a view into the space, check out Curbed’s slide show.
