Hirst, Emin, Goldin, and More Donate Prints to Raise Funds for Publisher’s Cancer Treatment

A heart-warming set of major artists including Damien Hirst, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Tracey Emin, and Nan Goldin have donated prints that will be sold in the Situation Gigi auction, funds from which will help to pay for the treatment of Gigi Giannuzzi (pictured, in a Carla Borel that will be sold in the auction), the publisher of Trolley Books and gallerist behind London’s TJ Boutling, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

The auction, which also features works by Cindy Sherman, Patti Smith, Sarah Lucas, and Alighiero e Boetti, will help fund alternative cancer treatments that Giannuzzi is currently pursuing at a private clinic near Munich, the Telegraph reports

The auction will unfold in two parts: one live auction in Mayfair on September 20 at 7pm, which will be conducted by Sotheby’s Oliver Barker; and a silent auction unfolding online until September 30 at 6pm. Works in the auction can be previewed online.
