Spank Rock to Perform at Tomorrow’s Opening of Last “Virgins” Show at Family Business

Tomorrow night retired art star Maurizio Cattelan and New Museum curator Massimiliano Gioni‘s Chelsea pop-up gallery Family Business will unveil the fifth and final exhibition in its Marilyn Minter-curated “Virgins” series, the one for which Hennessy Youngman issued an open call and has filled every available inch of the tiny storefront space. And, as the video invite (embedded below) reveals, the opening will feature a performance by Baltimore rap sensations Spank Rock.

In light of the volume of artwork currently crammed onto its tiny premises, tomorrow night’s opening “at” Family Business will largely take place outside the gallery — spilling even more heavily onto the sidewalk and street than previous receptions.
