   Maybe, sure aint Miro. Gorgeous? Need to get out more. Self expression aint art, never has been never will be. Creative art which lasts is expressIVE, exploring and finding what links us as the highest common denominator. Not therapy, games and lazy exhibitionism.    this is not art. this is ugly bullshit that ruins beautiful streets in towns like venice, bologna and pisa. shame on you for supporting street punks who deface property with pure shit like this. this post is a testament to why the majority of people laugh at modern art, bc people like you say that stupid crap like this is art. vomit.

   This isnt Modern art, its contempt-orary crap. Of the rebuilt art academies which the post impressionists had destroyed. This is about amusing the nouveau riche, no place more decadent and full of em than Venice at Biennale time.
   Modernism was musical and poetic, evoking deep emotions of commonality, the highest common denominator of man. This is just selfish expressionsim, true creative art is expressIVE of all, not Me.
   And intelligent, spiritual, passionate people dont find it funny enought to laugh, just shrug their shoulders and move on. it is Irrelevant. Too stupid to be absurd.

   Save the colorful and spirtual Watts Towers(Nuestro Pueblo), tear down the drab and souless Ivories.

   Nice photo. I believe it is “modernist” in the sense of taking reality and re-presenting it, framing, contextual intervention. But it doesn’t look like the sure hand of the spiral is in direct collaboration with the silver surfer. This kind of thing has been an inspiration to many painters – Josh Smith’s gimmick is kind of tired, if still relevant. I would go with the lady that spray paints abstract murals – that’s fun stuff.
